they often point to LOTR>…
guess what… the orcs/urihkai in LOTF weigher max 250 and were 6 1/2 feet tall.
the orcs in this weighed 800-1000lb+ and were minimum 10 feet tall..
I hate cgi.. its overused and used when unessecary when real effects should be.
but Warcraft was the 1 films in 10000000 where I wanted it.
its impossible to have 100 extras on stilts, in prosthetics that make then look 800lbs heavier…. let alone having the main characters properly express emotions is this… but despite this, as I just said, no technology exists to make 200lb humans look believable as 1000lb orcs…. it would of looked silly and ridiculous
get a life haters.. you have no argument
“Well, then they should make orcs weight less and have smaller sizes.”
Then they wouldn’t have looked like Warcraft orcs.
because the orcs look like that in the game, therefore they have to look like that in the movie.
And not just for the sake of preserving the look of the game. It’s important to the story that the average human is in no way a physical match for an orc. If the orcs just looked like big humans with some prosthetics, then it wouldn’t be so clear why a small group of them was an unstoppable force.
