Behind the Scene and other Major Plot Points
Boris was a lame villain
I mean all he wanted was his species survival. Yes he was a threat to earth but that was for the benefit of his own species. I mean is a lion evil because it eats a zebra? No way. It needs meat to survive. Same with the boglodites (well boglodites need more than meat). Boris just wanted his species to survive. Why did they have to make him so lame? It would be more interesting if boglodites devoured planets for their own amusement and not for survival. Then Boris would truly be evil
Evil is a point of view. I agree destroying planets for amusement would have been cool but his species surviving, it goes without saying was vital to him. His own race against time
What do you mean without saying vital to him?
I think that’s being way too lenient. The guy murdered people he didn’t have to, which didn’t benefit the survival of his species. He was a killer and his species had no regard for life of any kind other than their own. If boglodites actually came to Earth and starting killing us so they could devour our planet I doubt you’d consider them innocent creatures only trying to survive. It’s not one lion eating one zebra, it’s a civilization who thrives by destroying other civilizations. And seemingly without mercy. That’s bad enough for me.
I don’t guess they’re much different than the Bugs from the first film. At least as K described them. He said they “consume, infest, destroy and live off the death and destruction of other species”.
What’s up with K’s old gadgets right before he disappears
I noticed when K opens the secret compartment with all the weapons the remote control is an old zenith tv remote & the phone is old fashion. Why would they have that with all The MIB high tech gadgets? Does anyone know?
Obviously the room where he sits when making the phonecall is a room where ‘normal’ people are expected to be. Extra-terrestrial technology would be rather standing out in that case.
Yes you r right about trying to be a regular person n have technology like everyone else but…..that is an old phone n the remote is from the 70s. The older K is from now.
Also, and a more obvious and easy answer, is because it’s K. He’s old school. I mean, look at his apartment as compared to J’s apartment. That’s an old man apartment. And it is BADASS.
You’re right. I never thought about him being old school would be the reason why!
Boris could survive 40 years in Lunarmax without devouring any planet
I mean Boris spent 40 years in Lunarmax and he survived without devouring anything from earth. So boglodites could come to live on earth.
Maybe the boglodites need too much food per capita, and would deplenish their earthly supply. One member could be kept alive, but an uncontrolled population of them, not.
Boris and other things
If boris dies in the 1969 then how can he be alive in the future and past?
For Will Smith character how did his dad die and then tommy kept that secret from him? In the past Tommy never know his dad or did he?
When J returns, isn’t the future changed, and Boris is dead, and that’s what everyone remembers, except J, right?
Didn’t J say his dad wasn’t there, which is consistent. So he might have died the first time also, when K deployed the Arc Net the first time.
“We’ll take it from here”
When young Agent K first appears, he says “We’ll take it from here”, the first line K said in Men in Black (1997).
Alien from B&W movies.
Many of the aliens in the 1969 MIB headquarters were intentionally made to look like aliens from old black and white alien movies from around the same time.
There is a hidden joke. When Boris smashed K’s car at the baseball stadium, the car is a 1964 Ford Galaxy. So Boris actually destroyed the Galaxy
