Behind the Scene and other Major Plot Points
The dummy was pretty hilarious
I wouldn’t mind a spin off of that character.
He was pretty damn scary in the book trilogy and the TV episodes when I was a kid. He was almost like Chucky from Child’s Play.
What was the scene that gave u chills ? What was the best scene??
Favorite scene was probably when Champ fought off the werewolf to help Taylor.
My favorite scene was either when champ saves the girl from the werewolf. The other would be (*spoilers*) when Hannah is being sucked into the book and then when she comes back at the end of the movie.
When you see Slappy for the first time.
I nerded out when he said “Who you calling a dummy, dummy!” as memories of my childhood flooded back for a bit.
Any bit with slappy and and the brief invisble kid joke “Not cooool!!!!”
The love story continue in the sequel?
Does anyone think they will keep Zach and Hannah and their love story in the sequel? Or will they scrap those characters, all of them and start fresh? The love story really drew me in and I’d like to see it continued in the sequel. Anyone know if the original actors and Black have been signed on for the sequel of if it’s gonna be fresh and new?
All of the significant actors have been signed for multiple films. There was an article about how their pay increases a fair amount if a sequel happens.
Is it true that..
Slappy is in this movie for quite a long time? A friend of ours saw it and said that Slappy was in it a lot! Judging by the trailer we never would’ve thought so!
He is the leader among all of the monsters. He has a ton of screentime.
The Ghost Next Door
Hannah (Odeya Rush) is the Goosebumps character Hannah Fairchild from the book The Ghost Next Door. The plot revolved around Hannah suspecting her next door neighbor was a ghost when in reality, she and her family were ghosts.
Plot hole question…
What was the point of having the main character look at an old photo of himself holding a baseball bat?
Wasn’t his now deceased Dad in the picture? I think that was the point, him remembering his dad.
Not a plot hole at all. As the other person said, his father was in the picture and he was reminiscing.
So if Hannah isn’t
really human and is really a creation of Stine’s imagination does that mean she can’t die and won’t grow old? That seems kind of sad for Zach.
Stine said he did it differently at the end so she’ll probably be like a regular human.
RT/Meta Critic Review
Goosebumps is a great combination of adventure and comedy, it’s entertaining and pleases everyone who watches it, regardless if you’re familiar with the books or tv series (click here to see)
